Kulto and the Da Vinci Trouble..

Finally saw Da Vinci Code today. I watched it with Kulto. Yay! Nakumpleto din kame sa wakas! It was really a first. Back then, we never get to be completed. Someone always has a reason not to come. Kaya natutuwa ako talaga.

We all met up at our usual meeting place. The highschool benches, where else? Our meeting time was 9am. But, knowing, of course I would wake up late and because Jas, Rae and I always go together, the three of us would end up being late. (does that make any sense?.. it doesn’t to me..=p) When we arrived at around 10am. We were the only ones they were waiting for, well except for Cath who went to Vicente Cruz. Maybe she got tired rather bored waiting for us. Anyway, after we got completed, we decided to watch the movie in Robinson’s Place manila because da vinci code won’t be screened at any SM cinemas. They banned it, I can’t understand why though. Last night, I even thought that our barkada gimmick won’t push through. Epal nga kase ang mtrcb. They were not contented just on banning the movie on sm cinemas, they even banned the movie in the whole vicinity of manila. Buti na lang, pasaway ang RP..=p

So aion, we reached RP at around 11am. The first screening was 1030am. Hinde na kame aabot, so we decided to watch the 12:30 am screening. So, we just ate lunch at KFC and then fell in line for the tickets. The ticket line is already long when we came, maybe the main reason for the great number of viewers was, many got curious about the movie, not only because it is very controversial but also because it was banned to some areas and movie houses. Lam mo naman ang tao, habang binabawalan, lalong ginagawa.

We were so excited on watching the movie and with the fact that our kulto was completed t last that a series of unfortunate stupidities came our way. First, when our turn came to buy the tickets, the lady in the ticket booth asked us to show ourselves to the guard. Hinde ba kame mukhang 18? Instead of arguing, we just did as we’re told, we showed ourselves to the guard. Stupid manong guard asked us for our ID’s, and I don’t have an ID with me at that time. Duh! Its summer vacation and I’m already 18, why would I bring my ID with me? Without an ID, Jas, Marj and I weren’t allowed to enter. Kainis talaga! Buti na lang maparaan talaga akong bata. I suggested that we try our luck at the cinemas downstairs. This time, we won’t buy the tickets together, but we would buy it by pair. As always, I am with my pakner. This time, the lady in the booth just asked us our age and nothing more. And the guard didn’t ask anything. Buti na lang. Next unfortunate stupidity, we don’t know why but Jas and Cath was asked for their ID’s when we aren’t. dahil wala sila ID, manong guard didn’t allow them to enter. Panu na yan, we already bought tickets and we were already inside the movie house. Since, they can’t seem to convince the guard anymore that they were already 18, they (Cath and Jas) decided, again to try their luck on the toher movie house. And this time, pinapasok sila. See how stupid the guards are? Hinde sila coordinated. We were all able to watch the movie, nahiwalay nga lang sila Jas. But that’s not the end, another stupid thing happened. So, we were able to find a seat and all. What bugs me was, the guy sitting behind me keeps on kicking my chair because his stupid foot just won’t stop moving. All the way, I always get distracted by his tapping foot. Ooh.. how I wanted to look behind me and say, “Excuse me ha! Anu ba meron sa paa mo and it won’t stop kicking my chair?” But that would be rude, so I just kept my mouth shut. When the movie ended, I can’t help but look behind me to see who the stupid person is. And I saw a couple. What were they both doing that they have to kick my seat from time to time, huh?

The movie was good. The script followed the book, though there were lots of omissions and few added twists. And maybe, my imagination was much wilder than those who created the movie. Firstly, I imagined Robert Langdon to be a handsome man, with his rugged features. There were lots of actors that came to my mind that I think would fit Langdon’s character, but Tom Hanks was never one of them. Then there’s Sophie Neveu. I imagined her to be a bit more of athletic built than the Sophie who in the movie. I also imagined her hair to be shorter and well, the actress who played Sophie’s role was again far from what I imagined. Then, at first, when I saw the posters I automatically assumed that the white-haired old man at the leftmost part was Bishop Aringarosa and the man at the rightmost part was Sir Leigh Teabing. Well, mali na naman ako. The man I assumed to be Aringarosa happened to be Teabing and the man who I thought was Teabing turned out to be Captain Bezu Fache. Hay naku, what a shame. Wala ng tumama sa assumptions ko. Out of ten, ten being the perfect score, I would give DVC a much deserved score of 7.

After the movie, we were supposed to have a group picture. But due to lack of time and resources(money,,=p) next time na lang. But before going home, we ate merienda and did some reminiscing about all the adventures and stupidities we had back then.

Oh, how I miss high school. Not only my hs friends but everything about hs. Nothing really beats bonding moments we the people you treasure in life. These guys, I would willingly give my life for them. Cliché and corny but true. Alam ko naman na ganon din sila saken eh. People don’t really stay where they are, things just have to change, and all that is left would be memories. Good or bad, I would still treasure all those memories because they made me into what I am now. Pero these memories with my friends, lahat good. Kahit masama ang nangyare. Why? Because when I reminisce those memories no matter what happened, I know they would definitely make me smile or laugh. I love you kulto. You’re one of the best I’ve ever had.

Remember what I told you ah. Since we all are friends and will still be friends, pag wala na kameng suka sa bahay, I’ll call one of you to ask for a bottle of vinegar, tapos pag wala na gatas anak ko, I’ll go to your house and see if you can give me some milk for my baby.=p.. hah?!hah!? Love you guys..

Sana next time, I could got out with Din and Mika naman. If possible, sana before I go, I could go out with them. I miss them too eh.

Nice hands!!

Don't you just hate it when some good for nothing jerks just come up to you and say, "Hey, you have nice hands! Can I hold them?" then just grabs your hands before you could even say yes.

Earlier this day, my cousin and I went to the mall to buy few unnecesarry things. After buying, we decided to eat at a restaurant to satisfy our grumbling stomachs. Beside our table, was a group of guys, rowdy guys who keeps on looking at us then whisper at each other.

Then, because it is still early and we have nothing to do at home, we decided to do some window shopping. We were on our 5th store when my cousin nudged me and whispered, "Psst.. Vetzky.. Someone's following us." tehn using her eyes, she pointed to a group boys at the counter (three can be considered as a group right?..) The guys look familiar.. They were the same guys eating at the table beside us earlier. Ate Leigh literally dragged out of the store. "uwe na nga tayo!" she said.

And as we were walking at the almost deserted carpark, we noticed that the guys are still following us. We got scared, who knows, they maybe kidnappers or serial killer or lunatics. We walked faster. Stupid car, why did it have to be parked far from the entrance? When we finally reached the car, Ate had troubles looking for the key. Oh what a nice day for us.

The guys approached us and one said, "Hello misses! Sorry if we scared you. We mean no harm, gusto ln namin makipagkilala at makiapagkaibigan".. Makipagkilala at makipag-kaibigan?.. Oh that's nice.. Creative really.. Eh un ln pala gusto nila, so why stalk us?.. I hate stalkers. Sure, they are cute but they're not really our type.

Dahil, hinde naman ako mataray, I just stared at them and smiled. My ever so nice cousin naman did the opposite, she greeted them hello, introduced herself and even shook their hands. Hay naku. One guy turned to me and asked, "Ikaw anong name mo? I'm Mike" and he reached out his hand. Being me again, I just stared and smiled at him. Then he said, "Ang ganda ng kamay mo, pede ko ba hawakan!" and he just grabbed my hand. I pulled back. And said, "Get lost!" in a not so friendly tone.

I was trying to be nice to them. I even smiled. I'm just no interested and I dont give my name to strangers kase. My cousin opened the door of the car and I got in. She talked to them for a while and when she got, she told me that the Mike-guy wants to apologize for his rudeness. Apology accepted, but I still don't like him

I just can't believe it really. If a girl smiles at a guy that she doesn't know, does that mean that she's interested in him? What if she's justtrying to be nice or smiling for her is like a.. uhm.. err.. a hobby or something like that?

I learned something from that incident. Never smile at a stranger. He may pick up the wrong signal.

Well, is what I did a bad thing? Am I bad for telling someone to get lost? Now, I feel bad.

I think, this was the most stupid thing I've ever done in my life. Waah.. Im so bad and I feel bad.=(

Anyway, its been so long since I last posted here. My summer classes have already started. I even took my prelims exams today. It was fine. I think I did pretty good.

Ryoi-chan's back! He visited me the other day to give me my pasalubong. I'm so stupid talaga! I dont know what to do.

I did something really, really stupid and I don't know what to do..

If only Katzu's here, surely he'd know what to do. Surely, he could help me. Oh, Katz, when will you come back? I miss you so much!! I need you right now!! ='(
